Sweet Book Tour Recap!

Party Food For Girls Book Tour

this past april i had the most amazing opportunity to join with lynlee of lynlee’s petite cakes (author of Sweet and Unique Cupcake Toppers), glory of glorious treats (author of Glorious Layered Desserts), and kris of goods by kcreative (author of Pop Art) on a book tour through California!

i am so thankful for these talented women who i was able to travel with and all of the lovely people who came out to show their support! lynlee and i joined with local socal gal kris in san diego to kick things off and went from there to huntington beach and agoura hills. we were also able to meet up with some of our socal party peeps and have a super fun dinner out! a special thanks to kylie of made by a princess for organizing the dinner as well as allowing me to ship all my books and about 30 lbs of Jelly Belly beans (no joke!) to her house!!! it was definitely a whirlwind trip but tons of fun!

that next week we headed back to norcal where lynlee and i joined with glory and headed to san bruno and roseville. a big thanks to the sugar studio (hilary is a macaron magician!!), busy bakers, and west elm roseville for hosting us! it was so fun getting to know all of the local bloggers and dessert gals in the area and relaxing afterward with dinner!

Book Tour - Party Food For Girls Book Tour - Party Food For Girls Jelly Bean Favor Station

these containers were PERFECT for the Jelly Belly candy bar – they held up great (i used them at all of the book tour stops and i traveled with them in my suitcase – and they still looked great and were sturdy at the end of the tour!!) you can get them here on oriental trading. i have used them on many parties since (you can see them here at the princess party as well) and i’m sure will use them again in the future!
