DIY Easter crafts games and more how to
Spring is here and that means the Easter bunny is on his way! The weather is also getting warmer and I’m sure everyone is excited to be able to go outside again after one of the worst winters (especially if you’re reading this from New England…) And after all, ’tis the holiday for an Easter Egg Hunt. Am I right?? It’s also time to start planning your easter brunch with the family and I’ve rounded up a bunch of fun DIY’s of crafts, ideas for the tabletop and even some fun games for the kids. Like always, we’ve got you covered here at Creative Juice where everything you could possibly need is all in one place!

Let’s start with the crafts:

I love this idea framing a kids craft! Remember my post on what to do with kids masterpieces? Using strips of pastel scrapbook paper, let the kiddos do all of the work and use an egg shape matte board to create the “egg”. Pop it in a frame and you’ve got an adorable piece of art to hang or keep on a buffet table for easter brunch! Check out how to create these here.

Look at these Easter themed mason jars! These would be perfect to fill with candy and use as favors for all of the little ones in the family. You can check out the tutorial here. The faces were made using a vinyl cutter but if you don’t have one, no need to worry, you can test your painting skills and use a paintbrush!

These cards are so adorable! Great for teachers or family members, all you need is an ink pad, a sharpie and your little one’s fingers! Don’t forget to keep some baby wipes handy to prevent any messes with wandering hands… Check it out here.

I LOVE these place settings. Bringing you back to your paper mache days in art class… Grab some small water balloons, paper mache those babies with pastel colored yarn, and pop the balloons once they’re dry and you are good to go! You’d be surprised how useful that art class was. {they also make a great centerpiece stacked in a bowl!} Check it out here.

Setting the table is always a little easier with the kids around for a helping hand. Keep them busy for a little longer by having them make these DIY napkin rings. Save a few empty toilet paper rolls before you forget! This craft is so cute and very useful for a Sunday Brunch with the family. Learn how to make these here.

Games:

One word, Maracas. These look like a lot of things; fun, entertaining, crafty, maybe even a headache waiting to happen? Taking on this DIY at your own risk I know the kiddos will have fun with this one. Best Part? No scissors or sharp objects needed to accomplish this Easter themed musical instrument. Check it out here.
